Benjy Fenwick was a member of the Order of the Phoenix during the First Wizarding War, and fought against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
Benjy was brutally killed by Death Eaters during the war, who fired a curse that blasted Benjy to pieces, and then disposed of his remains. According to fellow Order member Alastor Moody, the Order, in their search for Benjy's body, only ever found "bits of him".

- ↑ Benjy appeared in a photograph with Marlene McKinnon that was taken two weeks before Marlene's death in July 1981. This indicates Benjy was alive in the summer of 1981 and must have been killed sometime between then and Voldemort's fall (October 31, 1981).
