The father of Beatrix Bloxam was a wizard. He placed a Sticking Charm on his daughter's bedroom door at night, to keep her from sleepwalking around the house after she suffered a traumatic episode. In her diary, Beatrix referred to him as "dear papa", and stated that he'd only locked her in her room out of genuine concern for her safety.

His surname is unknown as Bloxam was his daughter's married name.
