Beatrix Bloxam had at least two cousins. They were older than her and were the children of her aunt. When Beatrix was young, she overheard her aunt tell them the story The Warlock's Hairy Heart, as well as a shocking story which concerned Beatrix's uncle Nobby, a hag, and a sack of Bouncing Bulbs.
