A bear is a large dog-like mammal, and one of the largest meat eaters living on land.[1] Harry Potter once described Rubeus Hagrid in his overcoat as looking similar to an overgrown bear on its hind legs.[2] Hagrid also owns a coat that is actually made of bearskin.[3]
A teddy bear is a type of stuffed toy that more-or-less takes the appearance of this animal.
