A beach-ball was a Muggle[1] ball made of plastic and inflated with air, meant to be light and easily bounced and tossed about from one person to another.
History[]
During the 1985–1986 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a beach-ball was in the Muggle Studies Classroom.[1]
Dudley Dursley was compared to a beach ball when he was a young baby, due to his rotundness.[2]
Harry Potter's birthday cake from Molly Weasley was said to be beach-ball sized.[3]
