The Azkaban Security Officials and Very Important Wizards is an organization which presumably includes the wizards who run Azkaban, as well as its security officials.^[1]

History

Sirius Black

When Sirius Black was on the run, he was sighted in Dufftown by a sleepy Muggle woman. The Ministry of Magic was informed, but the special forces the Ministry sent there were unsucessful as Black had already left when they got there. This failure led the Azkaban Security Officials and Very Important Wizards to put Minister Cornelius Fudge under pressure to catch Black.^[1]
