An Ashwinder is a thin pale-grey snake with glowing red eyes. It is created from unchecked magical fires that have been left to burn too long. Ashwinder eggs are a common ingredient in Love Potions and a cure for ague. These eggs are extremely dangerous: if not found and frozen in time, they could set fire to a building.
