Arkie Alderton's Kwik-Repair Shop is a specialised establishment that repairs broomsticks.[1] Its founder, Arkie Alderton, was a well-known broomstick designer.[2]
Behind the scenes
- This shop was only mentioned in the Bloomsbury Live Chat with J. K. Rowling, where she recommended this shop to a wizard whose Nimbus 2000 "had a terrible knack of veering left". Arkie Alderton was first mentioned as a "well known broomstick designer" in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which had been published nine days before the chat took place on 30th July 2007.
