Aqua Eructo is a charm that can create a jet of water, with an icy blue coloured light that can be controlled by the users will.

The spell was used by Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley quite often during the year of 1994, to put out several fires, minor and major around the Hogwarts school grounds and during the Quidditch World Cup.

Etymology

The word "Aqua" means in Latin, "Water" and the word "Eructo" comes from the verb "to raise". "Aqua Eructo" means, roughly translated: "I Raise Water", which is reflected in the spell, which shoots jets of water.

Behind the scenes

The spell first appears in the video game adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, it is likely the spell was created to have the same qualities of Aguamenti, just instead had a different casting name as it was first used to put fires out.
