Andrew Snowyowl was a Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1940s and 1950s. He was Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team from 1948 to 1952.^[1][2]

EtymologyEdit

The name "Andrew" comes from the Greek name Ανδρεας (Andreas), which was derived from ανηρ (aner) "man" (genitive ανδρος (andros) "of a man"). "Snowyowl" seems to refer to the species of owl.
