The Amazon rainforest is a large moist broadleaf forest that covers most of northern South America.
Castelobruxo, one of the eleven wizarding schools, is hidden deep within the Amazon rainforest in northern Brazil. The school's castle and grounds are protected by the Caipora.[1]

Newton Scamander explored the Amazon rainforest in Brazil while researching on fire slugs.[2]
Gilderoy Lockhart alleged to have once travelled to the Amazon rainforest.[3] This was later revealed to be untrue when Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley exposed him to be a fraud.[4]
