"Open the Dumbledore!"
—Alohomora podcast outro

The Alohomora! podcast is a project by the Harry Potter fansite MuggleNet that aimed to complete a 'global reread' of the Harry Potter series. An episode of the show was released every week, each covering one chapter. It featured a rotating panel of regular hosts from the staff of MuggleNet, plus one guest host, usually a listener, though special guests have included Veronica Roth, (author of the Divergent Series) Arjun Gupta (starring actor, The Magicians), Kazu Kibuishi (Illustrator), Steve Vander Ark (author of the HP Lexicon, twice ) and most notably Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) and Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley).

When each book was finished, two special episodes would be aired; a book discussion, or "wrap", where the book itself is discussed along with all the international covers, and a "Movie Watch and Live Call-In Show", where all the listeners synced the playing of the chosen Potter film and commented on the movie through live chat on USTREAM.

The first episode of Alohomora, "PS/SS, 1-3: Yertle the Turtle" aired on the 24th of April, 2012.

On April 5th, 2016, Alohomora! revealed their plans to discuss Rowling's companion books. The final episode of the reread (Episode 189: DH Book Wrap – Fossil Palace) was released on the 7th of May of that year..
