Alice[citation needed] was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1990s.[2]
Biography[]
Alice was born in either Great Britain or Ireland in 1979 or 1980. On 1 September, 1991, she arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for her first year. She stood behind Neville Longbottom whilst Professor Minerva McGonagall explained the rules of the school prior to the Sorting ceremony.[2]
Etymology[]
Alice derives German name Adalheidis, which became popular in France and England in the early twelfth century.[3]
