Alfred "Alfie" Enoch is the actor who plays Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter films. He appears in all the films, with the exception of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. His character was omitted despite appearing in several scenes in the book. He did, however, voice the character in the video game based on the film.
Background
Enoch was born in Westminster, London, the son of British actor William Russell (best known for his role as Ian Chesterton in Doctor Who) and a Brazilian physician mother.[1] He attended Westminster School, a public boarding school in London. He is also fluent in Portuguese, and is pursuing a degree in Portuguese and Spanish at Oxford University.
