Behind the scenes
- It is highly likely that Albus purchased this wand from Ollivanders in Diagon Alley, as this is where most wizards in Great Britain purchase their wands from.
- The wand was made by the set designer for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Christine Jones and her team. The wand may be made of cherry, as she looked at cherry blossum buds from cherry branches and "incorporated them into the texture". The wand has "seed like markings across the base" and is thought to be sturdy.
- Jones also believed the wand was a source of comfort for Albus and a magical force.
