This letter was written by Albus Dumbledore to Harry Potter on 12 or 19 October 1996. The letter was delivered by Ginny Weasley,[2] and contained the date of the next private lesson between Harry and Dumbledore, which was to take place on the next Monday (which would be 14 or 21 October).[1]
