This letter was written by Albus Dumbledore to Molly and Arthur Weasley and explained Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter's arrival in the Flying Ford Anglia and their meeting with the Whomping Willow.[1]
Behind the scenes
- In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, no mention is made of the letter. However upon being in Severus Snape's office, Minerva McGonagall told Harry and Ron that they (Dumbledore and her) would write to both their families that respective evening.
