History
1994
Just before the start of the 1994–1995 school year, Moody was ambushed at his home by Barty Crouch Jr. and Peter Pettigrew. As Moody was meant to take over as the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor that year, Crouch and Pettigrew subdued him and used Polyjuice Potion so that Crouch could take Moody's place. They then set of Moody's dustbins to cover the disturbance.
1997
As Moody was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, he allowed his home to be used as one of the Order's safehouses. In late July of 1997, it was one of the locations Order members retreated to after the Battle of the Seven Potters.[1]
