This advisor to the Minister for Magic was an ad hoc position created in the administration of Rufus Scrimgeour to allow the outgoing Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, to remain in the government in some capacity. Other than advising the Minister, Fudge's only known duty was to liaise with the Muggle Prime Minister. It is unknown if the position was continued after the Fall of the Ministry of Magic and Scrimgeour's death, as Death Eaters have no use for muggle communications. While many other positions with the Minister for Magic's Staff and among the Heads of Department advise the Minister, this position was created solely for that purpose, and seems to have no other political power whatsoever.
