Abbott is the surname of a wizarding family. As one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, they were a pure-blood family up until at least the 1930s[1], but recent generations of Abbotts must have married Muggles and/or Muggle-borns, as Hannah Abbott is a half-blood witch.[2] The family's traditional residence was in Godric's Hollow.[3] They are related to the Longbottom family.[4]
