- 1994: The Hogwarts Quidditch Cup final takes place: Gryffindor beats Slytherin two-hundred and thirty to twenty.[1]
- 1996: Albus Dumbledore informs Harry Potter of the reason he had to live with the Dursley family, the circumstances surrounding the death of Sirius Black, and the Prophecy made by Sybill Trelawney, while Potter mourns Black's death. Dumbledore, also, explains why he made Ronald Weasley a prefect, instead of Potter.[2]
