- 1862: On the final of the League Cup, one of the sides jinxes the other team off all their robes (in violation of the official rules of the sport, set down in 1750 by the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Nonetheless, one of the Chasers of the opposing team managed to score the winning goal "wearing nothing but a smile".[1]
- 1862: The sixty-sixth Wizarding Schools Potions Championship is held.[2]
- 1864: Several boxes of treasure are stored at the Lestrange family vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank.[3]
- 1864: Italian Vermouth Bianco starts production.[4]
- 1865: The Knight Bus is first put into operation[5]
- 1865: Faris Spavin becomes Minister for Magic[6]
- 1865: The shop Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley is established[7]
- 1865: The Ministry of Magic agrees to leave Gringotts entirely in Goblin control.[8]
- 1867: The last time a Hogwarts student found the secret room behind a stained-glass Hogwarts crest on the Training Grounds until Harry Potter did in 1991.[9]
- 1867: Several boxes of treasure are stored at the Lestrange family vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank[3]
- 1867: McHavelock's Wizarding Headgear is established.[10]
- 1869: Mme Yvette Coquelot issues a plaque requesting patrons to "discharge their weapons before entering" her establishment in 69 Boulevard des Galantes, Paris. The plaque made its way to The Seven Swans in Godric's Hollow by the late 1990s.[11]
- 1869: The sixty-seventh Wizarding Schools Potions Championship is held.[2]
