- 1854: F. Lestrange stores several boxes of treasure at the family vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank[1]
- 1854: Qizilbash Quality Confectionary begins producing Cauldron Cakes.[2]
- 1855: Evangeline Orpington's term as Minister for Magic ends.[3]
- 1855: Violet Tillyman seemingly disappears from the face of the planet when she tries to go to her mother's house via the Floo Network after fighting with her husband Albert.[4]
- 1858: Squib Angus Buchanan goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a first-year. He becomes the first and only Squib in history to try on the Sorting Hat, who announced he was "a good-hearted chap, but no wizard".[5]
