• 1484: The Earl of Paunchley holds a Jousting Tournament on the village of Poppleton, England. Lord Paunchley unfairly forced an injured boy to joust against him, and would have killed him, if a witch who happened to be in the crowd, Hannah Cockleford, had not cast a strong Shield Charm that sent the Earl flying backwards and his horse landing on top of him. Although the Earl did not die, he sustained brain damage serious enough to leave him thinking for the rest of his life that he was a donkey named Hairy Cyril.
