Sirius because he that cool godfather
Duh... Lupin but there's one problem that he was a werewolf
Arthur is the only character that had a lot of involvement of his day to day life.
Arthur is the only real father figure. He took Harry in, prepared him for school, and actually gave him adult advice and warnings regarding Harry’s safety. He was the only character who gave Harry a continuous, no biased fatherly relationship and didn’t put Harry at risk.
Hagrid and Sirius both continuously put Harry at risk and definitely were more friends. Obviously Harry wanted to view Sirius as a father figure because he was his godfather but Sirius couldn’t help but treat him as a best friend / substitute of James. The other adults continuously corrected him for his improper parenting skills, which he obviously wouldn’t have much experience with. The fatherly relationship between Harry and Sirius never had time to actually grow.
Dumbledore was a mentor for Harry, but once again didn’t take on a role as a father figure.
🧙🏻♂️Albus Dumbledore : he's not a father figure for me because he's not really close with Harry you know, he always keeps some distance between them. I think that's normal but for a paternal figure no absolutely not. And I know that Dumbledore has affection for Harry but that's not really visible and compared to other character he's not the best.
🦌Severus Snape : no no no never !!!!! Ne-ver ! Take example on Snape... what a mistake ! Ok he protect him but he never was friendly or any. He protect Harry only for Lily, he didn't really like or had any affection for Harry so no ! That's no a paternal figure.
🦂Rubeus Hagrid : I'm not really ok with this idea to. He's nice, ok. But I think their relation was more amity than father-brother.
🐺Remus Lupin : I haven't argument for him... maybe he's a little bit absent compared to the others just here ⬇️
🔌Arthur Weasley : I never thought to him for a father figure ! So why not 🤷🏻♀️
🐕Sirius Black : incontestably and without surprises I think he's the best father figure for Harry ! He liked him really much, protected him, spent a lot lot lot time for him and they were really close. I think since he was James best friend that's good for Harry because he can have some memories about his father. And Sirius is a good enough example for Harry 🙃
May I ask why you say Sirius spends a lot of time with Harry? Between the hiding out and Harry being and school they almost spent no time together. In fact he spent less time with Harry then any of the other characters mentioned.
I think the goal was for him to be a father figure, but he was ever able to do to his premature death. Not to mention everything he did was actually a bad example for Harry not a good one lol.
Maybe but when he was alive he tried to.
For example, in the fourth book, when he met the three friends in Hosemangade. He ever tried to meet Harry even if was difficult.
He always spent letter for speak with him. He didn't spend as much time as the others but tried and as they say it is the intention that counts 🙃 And that's normal with his untimely death.
And yes I knew he was not always the perfect example, that's for that I wrote good "enough".
(But maybe enough hasn't the signification that I wanted 🤔)
Sirius, I feel this goes beyond reason. He is quite literally the only (Potter) family Harry has ever known.
He’s not a potter though. So I don’t think It goes without question.
Sirius Black. Hands down. No question. He took care of him even before Harry knew who he was (hence the Firebolt) and he offered his home to Harry without a second thought
Dumbledor
